If you’re looking for a hotel in Hua Hin, Thailand, Ace of Hua Hin is another place I’d recommend checking out.
It’s a five-star beachfront hotel located not too far from Hua Hin town. From the hotel, it takes around 15–20 minutes by car to reach Cicada Market.
For this trip, I stayed in a Deluxe Room with my family, including our 4-year-old nephew. Here’s what I think about the room, swimming pools, breakfast, and overall experience.
Check-in and Check-out Time

Check-in at Ace of Hua Hin starts at 3:00 PM, while check-out is before 12:00 PM.

Personally, I really like the check-out time. Some hotels ask guests to check out at 10:00 or 11:00 AM, so having until noon makes things a little more relaxing.

We didn’t have to rush to pack our bags in the morning. There was still time to take our nephew swimming, walk around the hotel, or simply sleep in a little longer before leaving.

I think that’s a nice thing to have, especially when traveling with children.
Ace of Hua Hin Deluxe Room Review

The Deluxe Room is around 45 square meters and comes with a large bathtub.
I think it’s a good size for two adults and one child. For our trip, we stayed with three adults and one child, so make sure you select the correct number of guests when booking.

The room felt quite spacious and comfortable, almost like being at home.

There was a minibar, IPTV, a small refrigerator, and plenty of space for our luggage. Even with several bags in the room, we still had enough space to move around comfortably.

The bathroom was another thing I really liked. It came with a large bathtub, hot and cold water, shower gel, shampoo, and a dental kit.
What I liked most was how the bathroom areas were separated.

The toilet had its own glass door, while the shower area was also enclosed with glass. This helped keep the rest of the bathroom dry.
There was also an internal privacy blind and a door that could be locked from inside.
I think this is especially useful when staying with children. Anyone who has traveled with a young child probably understands why having a little privacy in the bathroom is a good thing!

For our room, we booked a double bed and requested an extra bed.
The extra bed was actually a convertible sofa, which I think works well for children or adults who aren’t too tall.
Overall, it was still comfortable enough to sleep on. Another thing I liked was the large balcony. There was a table, two chairs, and a large outdoor daybed that could fit one or two people.
You could easily spend some time sitting outside, having snacks, or just relaxing on the balcony.
Breakfast at Ace of Hua Hin

Breakfast is served near the front of the hotel, close to the lobby.
There were quite a few food options, including Thai dishes such as rice, curries, and stir-fried vegetables.

For Western breakfast, there were also ham, eggs, bacon, sausages, and bread.

Overall, I think the breakfast was pretty standard for a five-star hotel.

It was good, but I wouldn’t say it was particularly different from what I’ve had at other hotels in the same category.
Swimming Pools and Beach Access

One thing I liked about Ace of Hua Hin is that the hotel has two swimming pool areas.
The first pool is located near the guest rooms.
It’s a long swimming pool running alongside the pool-access rooms, with a depth of around 1.5 meters.

The second swimming pool is located closer to the beach.
This area has a smaller children’s pool and a larger swimming pool overlooking the sea, also around 1.5 meters deep in the main section.
You’ll need to walk a little farther from the rooms to reach this area, but it’s also close to the hotel’s bar and dinner restaurant.

Another nice thing is that Ace of Hua Hin is right by the beach.
You can walk directly from the hotel to the beachfront, which I think is great.
On some days, the hotel also organizes activities around the beach area, such as fire shows and live music.
Of course, the activities available may depend on when you’re staying.
Is Ace of Hua Hin Good for Families with Kids?

For this trip, we traveled with our 4-year-old nephew.
I think Ace of Hua Hin is a fairly good choice for families with children.
The hotel has an Ace Kids Club near the second swimming pool, right next to the children’s pool.
Unfortunately, the Kids Club was closed for renovation during our visit, so I didn’t get a chance to take photos or try it out.
One thing I noticed is that the hotel doesn’t have as many water playground features as some other family resorts.
So, younger children might find the swimming pool activities a little limited.
But for adults, I think the hotel is a really nice place to relax.
The rooms are spacious, the beachfront area is pleasant, and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the surroundings.
How Much Did I Pay for Ace of Hua Hin?

We stayed during a long holiday period, traveling with three adults and one child.
For our Deluxe Room, I paid around THB 6,000 per night, including breakfast.
Of course, hotel prices can vary depending on the season, room type, number of guests, and booking dates.
For me, I think it was a pretty good stay, especially considering the spacious room, swimming pools, and beachfront location.
Final Thoughts: Is Ace of Hua Hin Worth Staying At?

Overall, I think Ace of Hua Hin is a good hotel for a relaxing trip to Hua Hin, especially if you’re traveling as a couple or with family.
I really liked the spacious Deluxe Room, the large bathtub, the balcony, and the fact that the hotel is right by the beach.
The noon check-out time was also a nice bonus because we didn’t have to rush in the morning.
If you’re traveling with young children, there are a few things to consider. Although the hotel has a Kids Club and a children’s swimming pool, there aren’t as many water play facilities as some other family-focused resorts.
But if you’re looking for a comfortable beachfront hotel where you can relax, I think Ace of Hua Hin is definitely worth considering.
For me, it was a pleasant stay, and I’d recommend adding it to your list if you’re planning a trip to Hua Hin, Thailand.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a great trip!
